My name is Sofía and I'm the girl behind Arterias de Neón illustrations and designs.

I've always enjoyed art, both works created 200 years ago and works which are being gestated right now, why not? They usually go around the same topics!

I must confess that in some occasions I've prefered museums' shops than the museum itself, because I love how cool a Van Gogh's painting Tote Bag looks. Yes, sometimes my taste is a little questionable.

Sometimes I get obsessed over a 2005 song or a XIX poem, and then I try to extract what kind of emotion it contains that has had moved me so much. Since doing this, I started making illustrations that communicate a certain feeling or a very specific atmosphere of a place, an event or an album... From my particular point of view.

Hola, ¿Qué tal estás? :)

Mi nombre es Sofía y soy quién está detrás de las ilustraciones y diseños de Arterias de Neón.

Desde siempre me ha gustado el arte, aquél creado hace 200 años pero también el que se está gestando ahora y, ¿Por qué no?, ¡Si casi siempre hablan de lo mismo!

Reconozco que en muchas ocasiones he disfrutado más de la tienda de regalos de los museos que de los propios museos, porque me encanta lo bien que queda un cuadro de Van Gogh en una Tote Bag. Sí, a veces mi gusto es un poco cuestionable.

A veces, me obsesiono con una canción del 2005 o con un poema del siglo XIX, y trato de extraer qué tipo de emoción contienen y por qué es tan atractiva para mí. A partir de esta inquietud, empecé a buscar que mis ilustraciones transmitiesen un sentimiento o atmósfera perteneciente a un lugar, un evento, un tema musical... Desde mi particular visión de los mismos.
